Our boy is BIG 5! What a birthday!
We had a fun family celebration that included celebrating Grandma Marilyn's birthday. Easton and Grandma are two days apart. The family party included a CARS cupcake tower, playing Rockband and a new bike!
Easton was the special helper at school on his birthday. Mommy got to come help.
Ellie, Mommy and Daddy celebrated Easton's big day at Big Al's - bowling, dinner and arcade games.
What a day! What a special boy!
Dear Easton,
As you turn 5 here are a few things we want you to know! You totally love to PLAY, especially Hot Wheels, Legos, board games, Geo Trax, your D.S and the PS3 and puzzles are pretty fun, too! You are learning to read and although it's hard to slow down to show us how much you know, you blow us away by what you can do. You make Mommy laugh at your fascination with Dead End signs as we travel back and forth to preschool and to pick up Ellie. You could play catch with Dad for hours and he takes great pride in the fact that you love football and the Blazers, too. You and Ellie can be the best of buds, but you also know how to push your sister's buttons. You have a tender heart and tears come easily if think you've hurt someone's feelings. You play hard and sleep so well. You are a busy body, but a cuddle bug. You are so ready for kindergarten and we can hardly believe that 5 years have flown by. We love you so much, Easton. You make us so proud to be your parents!
Love,
Momma and Dad

Awesome birthday! What fun he had and I'm all for celebrating birthdays over and over again! Loved the letter you wrote to him, honey....he will love it too.
Hope that your day with your son was AWESOME! And I remember those days when that landmark 5 came around... there is that sense of sadness and pride that only a momma can have! :)
