Aaron and I took a week-long cruise, kidless, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. When we booked the cruise last fall, little did we know it would coincide with the sell of our house and purchase of a new one, as well as report card season for me. The Lord definately has a plan and He knew we would NEED this cruise for rest and relaxation after selling and moving.
6 days after moving in to our new home, we left for Puerto Rico and then a cruise to the Caribbean. We loved Puerto Rico. We did a self guided walking tour and learned a bit about the history of Puerto Rico, which was very interesting. We also loved the arcitecture, see the picture below.
In Puerto Rico, we boarded our ship and made stops to St. Kits, Grenada, Bonaire and Aruba (I'm forgetting an island!). We did a lot of snorkeling, but our favorite island was Bonaire for the amazing snorkeling. Aaron and I had the best time, reconnecting, hanging out, being able to finish conversations and not having to cut anybody's food! We truly enjoyed ourselves, but we were ready to come home and see our kids! Thanks to very helpful grandparents on both ends, we knew the kids were having fun without us. It was good to be back, though in our new house.
