Ellie's Last Soccer Game

A few pictures from Ellie's last soccer game.

The last game of Ellie's first soccer session was sweet, not bittersweet. All good things must come to an end and we were ready for soccer to come to an end after a rough start. Aaron was ready to end his first experience coaching, as it came by default, not by choice. He equated coaching 3-4 year-olds to herding cats. He now has a greater empathy for me teaching first grade. He was a great coach, though and I was proud of him for stepping up to the plate. Ellie greatly enjoyed having her dad be the coach and I thought he was kind of cute in his royal blue Vancouver Parks and Rec youth soccer shirt. Go, Coach!
