A Week With Cousin Tyler

Cousin Tyler came to stay a week with us! The kids had an absolute BLAST! Here are a few things we did as well as some pictures.

~ VBS week - Each day had a theme. This is Crazy Hair Day.

~ Sonic Happy Hour

~ Bike Riding - we met our friends, Kyle and Carter on the Vancouver Waterfront for a bike ride and throwing rocks in the river. They threw rocks and found treasures for almost an hour!

~ Lots and lots and lots of playing!

~ A trip to the library. Both Tyler and Ellie are READERS and we had to stock up on books. Some books on tape gave a few moments of quiet time. (While at the library I scolded, then tattled on 5 teenagers for being inappropriate and rude. They were asked to leave and my kids said I was "cool".)

~ Late night giggles and sleeping together in different rooms.

~ Playing outside in bare feet

~ Building a blanket fort

~ Watercolor painting

~ Summer bingo with jobs, activities and things to do

~ Soccer Camp!

~ Muffin tin lunches

~ A picnic at Lacamas Park

~Following the picnic we took a great hike around Round Lake and saw LOTS of creatures!

~ A trip to Big Al's for Easton and Tyler while Ellie attended a birthday party.

Ellie, Easton and Tyler get along very well. They really did a great job all week. I will tip my hat to any mom of more than two kids! Three kids made for a busy, active and loud house. But, the cousin memories are so worth it!
